Hi everyone, thank you for taking the time to visit this page. As some of you may be aware, my mom is currently hospitalized with COVID-19 and pneumonia. My mom also is diagnosed with chronic conditions such as heart failure, Asthma, Crohn's Disease, and cancer, to name a few. This means that she is in a high-risk group for COVID-19, and despite our efforts to keep her safe, it failed. She has been sick for about two weeks, and so far, her condition has not improved. She will be in the hospital for the foreseeable future. She has stopped breathing multiple times, and the doctors are unsure of a prognosis at this point. They are working tirelessly to help her. 

My sister, Katlin, and I have elected to create this gofundme for our mom since she has been out of work for two weeks without pay. The bills never stop, and unemployment will never come in quick enough. Right now, my sister and I are splitting the expenses of buying groceries for our two disabled brothers and our aunt, that is also battling COVID-19. However, we do not have unlimited resources at this time. But we are doing what we can. 

We understand that this is an impossible period for many. We are feeling the ugly brute force of this virus right now. We don't know if we’ll even be able to see our mom again. But we are asking for help during this time to alleviate some of my mom's worries. 

She is the type of woman that has spent her entire life helping other people without any expectation that they will help her in return. She is precisely the reason my sister and I are in the careers we have chosen. Any amount of money will help us offset the expenses.
