Help for Mel’s recovery

In the early morning hours of May 22, our dear friend Mel was involved in a very serious motorbike accident in Florida. She has been in a coma ever since due to the extensive injuries that occurred as a result.

She has been suffering with a brain bleed, swelling of the brain, facial fractures, a broken collarbone, collapsed lung, and road rash. She has a very long road to recovery ahead.

Those who know her, know that she would be there in an instant in order to help out a friend. Which she has been time and time again with a lot of us. Having said that, even though she would never be the person to ask, we believe she needs her friends more than ever during this time.

Being that the accident happened far away, unfortunately there are some expenses being incurred. We were wanting to ask on her behalf that if you could in anyway help out it would be a big relief. Especially at this time.

I know we wish we could be by her side, but this is the next best thing we can do for her and her family while Mel’s healing is still in the realm of the unknown at the moment. On behalf of Mel’s daughter and Grandchildren we genuinely would like to thank you so much for all of your prayers and thoughts. We will do our best to try and keep you up-to-date when there are any changes in our beautiful Mom (Grandma) friend. For now we wait.
