Melissa Doyle, her husband Raymond, and their 5 children have had a terrible family accident and are in need of assistance.  On Sunday,  March 18th, while Raymond was putting away his late father's gun, it accidentally discharged, striking Raymond in the abdomen and cutting the mesenteric artery, causing extensive blood loss and internal damage. He had to be placed into a medically induced coma while undergoing surgeries to repair the most life threatening injuries. Awake now, but far from out of the woods, he remains in the ICU, and after he stabilizes he may need more surgeries as well as undergoing months of therapy afterwards.

Raymond and Melissa have already used up their PTO while taking care of Raymond's father who passed away recently on hospice care. This family has experienced great loss and on top of all of this, they are now being evicted from their apartment for "unlawful discharge of a weapon", even though the landlord knows it was an accident.

Raymond is a pharmacy tech and most of his income goes toward paying for the medical insurance for his family. He will receive short term disability after the required waiting period, but at 60% of his normal wages it will barely cover their insurance needs. Melissa, an RN with Compassus Hospice, is taking FMLA while she looks for a new place to live, and tends to her family's needs, so she won't have any income for a few weeks. They are in desperate need of financial assistance. Any amount will help and is greatly appreciated.

The type of home they are looking for is a 4 bedroom, ranch style, hopefully with a fenced yard and pet friendly, in the Willard school district. If anyone knows of a place, please send me a private message and I'll forward the info to them.
