Melanie is a remarkable nurse that has cared for many and is now in need of our care. She has provided loving care as a Labor & Delivery nurse, and is a beloved mother, wife, and friend. Working on the front lines during the COVID pandemic, she contracted the illness in November. After having a mild heart attack, which hospitalized her, she was diagnosed with pericarditis plus many other medical problems leading her doctors to diagnose her with SIRS (systemic inflammatory response syndrome).
Thankfully, Malanie is recovering at home but at her most recent doctor's appointment, she found out that she won't be cleared to work for at least another month. (Her next appointment is on Feb. 11.) They are calling it "post-COVID syndrome" in which patients take around 12 weeks to recover. She is still suffering chest pain and extreme fatigue. Melanie has already used up all of her paid leave and short term disability. Please help me in sending Melanie blessings for healing and her return to work.
