Help for Melanie Dean's Medical Expenses

Hi my name is Sherri and I am raising funds for my sister Melanie Dean's medical expenses. This past year with Covid, has been difficult for all of us but has been extremely difficult for the Dean family. My sister is the loving wife to her husband Keith for 33 years, mother of four wonderful children, and proud grandmom of two granddaughters. At the beginning of this year, Covid infected Melanie's household putting Keith on a respirator and then eventually on oxygen due to pre-existing respiratory issues. After recovering herself, Melanie was able to return to working and supporting the family, as Keith was unable to work for 3 months. Eventually the whole family was well enough to resume life as they knew it. Melanie has always had issues with her eyesight. She has had Lasik eye surgery, which yielded temporary improvement. Yet to no avail, her eyesight still continued to degrade. After multiple optometrists and multiple tests later Melanie was finally sent to a neurologist where it was determined she has had a tumor growing on her optic nerve for many years. The tumor's growth rate had started to increase exponentially thus affecting her sight. Not long after the determination, Melanie underwent a nine hour surgery to remove the tumor from her brain. Our faith sustained the family during this agonizing ordeal. Doctors say they were successful in removing all of the tumor. During her short stay in the hospital, Melanie was not completely able to keep her food down and complained of abdominal pain. She was given medication for nausea and was eventually sent home. Melanie was only home for a few days until she was rushed back to the hospital due to her excruciating abdominal pain and inability to sustain any nourishment. Within the hour Melanie underwent a second surgery to repair a perforated stomach. She is currently recovering in ICU. The Dean family has been through so much. Prayers are always appreciated. Your contribution to their surmounting medical bills is very much appreciated as well. With all that they've had to worry about, my goal is to make their medical bills less of a major concern.
