On Friday the Cook family of Lafe received the call that their 17 year old son Gabe was accidentally shot in the upper chest/shoulder, and it severed a main artery. He underwent surgery, and they had to remove a vein from another area of his body to repair the main artery. The family is currently at Memphis in recovery with Gabe. We are starting this Gofundme to help with the medical, Air Evac, and general expenses. Gabe is expected to be there for at least a week, and will have a long road to recovery and rehab.
