Help for Medical Bills #Teamzay

Hi, my name is Karen, and I am starting this fundraiser to raise money for an extraordinary boy and his family. Recently, my cousins Amber and Mikey found out that their son, Zayden, suffers from Nuerofibromatosis (NF1). NF1 is a genetic disorder that causes benign tumors to form on nerve endings. These tumors can form anywhere in the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, and nerves. Although these tumors are benign, they can affect many skills we take for granted if found in the brain. He has been receiving therapies to help with his motor skills, such as walking and jumping. Recently, he has been suffering from severe migraines, and his NF1 team suggested that he go to Riley's Children's Hospital to check on what is causing these migraines. After a long ER visit and a five-day inpatient stay, the tests showed that he has a tumor on his optical cortex, causing sight issues and has forced him to wear glasses and one sitting on an artery in his brain that can cause a stroke. They will be starting treatment soon, which will entail multiple hospital stays, and missed days at work and school, and will be tough on little Zayden's body. This will take a significant toll on the family, so anything will help them at this point. They have applied for medicaid but many people have told them that they will most likely be denied because they make just over the threshold allowed by the state. The money raised will help for the medical bills, travel, food, and anything else that will assist them in taking care of Zay. I know times are tough right now, so if you can not help monetarily, please just say a small prayer for him, it would be appreciated!

Update: While setting up this Go Fund Me he has started a new Chemotherapy Pill which he has to take daily at 4 in the morning. He has been taking it for the last couple of days and is doing well on it.
