Help for Matthew's family during his recovery

As some of you have already heard, my son Matthew Campeau has been in the ICU since August 26th. He was initially diagnosed with acute pancreatitis but has suffered many complications and has been on a ventilator for the last six weeks and counting. The good news is that he is stable and slowly improving, but it will take time for him to get back on his feet.

Let me tell you a little bit about my son Matthew. He and his wife Jennifer welcomed their son Jericho 2 months prematurely in December 2021. Thankfully, Jericho has been growing, and he is such a sweetheart. I have had the pleasure of watching him on and off, so Jennifer can visit with Matthew. They live 2 hours away from me, making it difficult for me to see Matthew regularly. Jennifer is still on maternity leave, and Matthew is unable to work. Jericho is on a special hypoallergenic formula that has been impossible to find in Canada. We must make trips to the States to purchase more.

Some of you have asked how you can help, and I thought this might be a way to give them a hand. Any raised funds will help Jennifer with her day-to-day expenses and any of Matthew’s future needs.
