My family would like to thank every donator.  Your generosity has helped not only our parents but his children.  Because of your help it eased some of the financial and emotional burdens for our family.

Our parents, me, a few of our cousins and Matt's 3 eldest daughters were able to be by my brother's side in his time of need until the end.  He was not alone.  We have been working nonstop to honor my brother, Matt, and his wishes. 

My parents have paid out of pocket for all needs regarding my brother, including his celebration of life.  

My parents have set up trusts in each child's name (all 6 of his children).  We will continue to add donations from this fund to their trusts evenly.  

Only money from this page or personally gathered by my parents or myself go directly to my brother's children.  Any other supposed fundraiser is a scam.  The money from those are going directly to those people as a source of income.  Including his clothing line that his "partners" have cut him and his children out of.

Unfortunately I have to turn this fundraiser into a memorial fund.  We unexpectedly lost my little brother on 1/30/2022.  His children are broken and miss their Dad.  He was their happiness and that is now gone.  Matt paid for everything they needed and wanted.  His babies are his world.  I promised him I would take care of them.

Hi, this is Matt's eldest Sister, Ashlie. I never thought I would have to be writing this or asking for this. It is really hard so I will try to be brief.

Who is Matt? Matt is a strong willed, determined, hard working 33 year old single dad to 6 gorgeous kids. Matt has 2 sisters. Our parents have been together since they were teens, our Dad is a selfless fire chief.

What happened? He had stomach pains for 6 weeks but had to work and take care of his kids so he didn't get seen right away. He finally went in 01/06/22 to the local ER. They air vacced him to a hospital 4 hours from his family on 1/7/22 in the wee hours. He had a perforated colon from diverticulitis.

He has had 3 surgeries, multiple units of blood, and is now septic with dialysis and life support.

I am asking for this money to help keep my parents at his bedside so he is not alone, to keep up on his bills, and to help care for his children while he can't.

Our parents drove 24 hours to get to him. Please help my family!
