I am doing this GoFundMe for a good friend, Matt, and his wife, Dawn, who have been trying for a very long time to have a baby, and had a miscarriage last year. After a period of time to grieve, they decided to try again with the help of their doctor and with lots of visits and appointments, they were pregnant and on the road to being new parents. Shortly after, to their surprise, they found out it was twins, and everything was progressing well.

Last week, Dawn started having some issues that would put her on bed rest in the hospital, and within a couple of days, she was air lifted to Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto in full labour at only 22 weeks. She delivered Emerson shortly after at only 477 grams in weight, and shortly after that had an emergency C-section, where she had Theodore at 377 grams, and he sadly didn’t make it. They have so much to deal with, losing a child and dealing with his arrangements, and they have a very premature son who will be in the hospital until mid-December at the earliest, but could stretch out until February depending on how things go. They will need help with money while staying in the city, and costs not covered by the health care system. Matt will be off work for an extended period of time and needs anything you can give. I understand some don’t have a lot, but $5 is still something. Please put yourself in their position and like and share this post.
