Help for Marc Lyons ❤️

We're reaching out to ask for your support for our brother, Marc Lyons, who is currently facing a tough battle against a rare and aggressive form of T-Cell Lymphoma with Mycosis Fungoides. Unfortunately, this cancer has spread to different parts of his body, including his lymph nodes, skin, bone marrow, and spine. Despite going through two rounds of different chemotherapies, Marc's fight is far from over.

Because of the complexity of his condition, Marc's treatment involves a mix of in-patient and out-patient chemotherapy, with each cycle lasting 13 days. Recently, scans have also shown a mass on his right kidney, which might require a separate kind of chemotherapy.

Right now, Marc is receiving treatment at MDAnderson in Houston, which means he and his wife, Michelle, have to make multiple trips to the hospital every week. It's a trek of over 40 minutes, and the added costs of travel and parking have put a significant strain on their finances. On top of that, Marc's right leg has gone numb, preventing him from working. They've applied for Social Security Disability, but it can take up to 9 months for a decision to be made.

With his wife being the sole provider, they're now facing the overwhelming challenge of managing their mortgage, medical expenses that insurance won't cover, and preparing for the costly bone marrow transplant that Marc will need after completing chemotherapy.
