After a life dedicated to offering spiritual support to others, now I need help to recover from a series of strokes that have left me without a fully working brain. Any donations to this fund will go towards my healing: resuming a full life and providing succor and spiritual support to those in need.

Many of you may know Mama Donna, an artist, author, and urban shaman, who has conducted countless public rituals for decades that have been spiritual support systems to her community, wherever she may be. The aim and purpose of these public events are to connect people with people, people with their own selves, and always to a larger spiritual order of the universe, of which we are part. She calls this work “gathering on common ground.”

In addition to her countless “celestially auspicious occasions” – solstice, equinox and new moon celebrations – she has led workshops and classes, as well as private rituals of all kinds, including weddings, memorials, funerals, baby blessings, house blessings/clearings, coming-of-age ceremonies, and private consultations. She is an activist, and the author of Bless This House, The Queen of My Self: Stepping into Sovereignty in Mid-Life, Celestially Auspicious Occasions, and The Moonwatcher’s Companion.

After suffering a traumatic brain injury in 2021 and another in 2022, Mama Donna suffered a serious stroke in 2023. These health challenges, on the heels of the pandemic, have left Donna unable to support her daily activities and professional work.
