Peter & Connie Goetz Start Over After Malibu Wildfires
Donation protected
The Malibu fires swept through the community this week so quickly, leaving complete and apocalyptic devastation. Among those hardest hit were the parents of some of my dearest friends, who suddenly and tragically lost their home with just hours' notice to evacuate.
The Goetz's are kind, generous, and deeply rooted in the Malibu community dating back to the early 80's. They've spent their lives in their humble but charming home filled with love and memories for decades.
Peter & Connie Goetz face the overwhelming task of starting over from scratch. While they’re grateful to be safe, the loss of their home has left them in utter shock, displacement and under tremendous stress.
Their children, who have been some of my best friends for 30 years, would never ask for help, but they will now be forced with the task of taking on the responsibility of rebuilding their parents' lives, and it is a heck of a lot to take on.
If you ever had the opportunity of gathering at one of their homes on Cuthbert Drive during the early years or Big Rock for the last 25 years, you know how wonderful, magical, and hospitable it was.
Let's rally together and ensure they feel supported. That’s where this GoFundMe comes in: to give this family some much-needed relief and a foundation to begin again after losing everything.
No contribution is too small, and if you can’t donate, sharing this campaign means the world.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, generosity, and support.
