Hi, my name is Mariela, and I am asking for your help raising funds to help my sister with her major surgery. Her name is Magda Rodriguez, and her battle against cancer started in 2017 when she was diagnosed at 34 years old, with no kids with a rare uterine cancer. After a total hysterectomy, chemo and radiation therapies, cancer is back in her bladder three years later, forcing her to have it removed and likely another round of chemo.

She currently lives in Mexico (Cd. Juarez), which differs from the United States; funds must be paid upfront before anything can be done, and her insurance has been maxed out from previous treatments. After some recent procedures and weeks of intolerant pain, Magda must travel to Mexico City as soon as possible to get this surgery done before cancer spreads to other organs.

My sister is a fighter, and so is my family. We strongly believe in God; she will fight this one also. Any help will be used towards her surgery, travel and post-surgery expenses.
