Lorraine Smith, a wife, mother, grandmother, and a beloved friend to many has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Lorraine is under the care of an Oncologist and will begin treatment very soon. She is also going to combine this treatment with a treatment plan provided by an Alternative Medicine physician. Unfortunately, the Alternative Medicine is not covered by insurance and each appointment will range from $250-$500 and does not include the cost of treatment.

Lorraine is a women of God and has been a member of Mount Hope Baptist Church for 30 years where her husband John is the pastor. She volunteered countless hours at our local correctional facility for 31 years teaching Bible study classes and later as the Chaplain. She is always looking for ways to help others. 

She and John have been married for 40 years and have 2 children together and 9 grandchildren. 

She is employed with Hamilton Company and has been a Customer Service Representative for 15 years.

Lorraine has always given herself to others so we want to give back to her in any way we know how. She is not able to work during this time, and with part of her treatment not being covered by insurance, we're hoping that this Go Fund Me account will help bring some financial relief during her time of need.
