Queridos amigos, ¡necesito su ayuda!

Hace unos meses, me contagié con el COVID-19. Al no poder respirar, fui admitida al hospital, donde estuve gravemente enferma por un mes. Ahi, me diagnosticaron pulmonía, lo cual ha destruido mis pulmones. Tan severa es mi condición, que mis doctores recomendaron un transplante de pulmones. Al oír eso, mi corazón se callo y mis lagrimas fluyeron.

Luego, fui transferida a un nuevo hospital, donde, afortunadamente, recibí una segunda opinion sobre mi tratamiento. Aquí, los especialistas de pulmones han propuesto un plan de terapias, cuales deben prevenir la necesidad de un transplante, pero cuales tomaran un largo tiempo y costaran una gran cantidad de dinero.

Durante todo este calvario en el hospital, no he podido trabajar y ganar dinero para cumplir con mis obligaciones. Ademas, los tratamientos que me pueden salvar la vida cuestan de $30,000 a $50,000.

Por esto, les pido su ayuda. Cualquier cantidad que puedan contribuir me ayudará a cumplir con mis obligaciones y a financiar mis tratamientos. Se los agradezco muchísimo.

Dear friends, I need your help!

A few months ago, I contracted COVID-19. As I had difficulty breathing, I was admitted to the hospital, where I spent a month I grave condition. I was diagnosed with pneumonia, which virtually destroyed my lungs. My condition was so severe, that my doctors suggested a lung transplant would be the only solution. When I heard that, my heart dropped and tears flowed from my eyes. I was devastated.

I was then transferred to a hospital in Philadelphia, where I thankfully received a second opinion about my treatment. They recommended a series of therapies which should circumvent the need for a lung transplant, but this is a long-term treatment that will be very expensive.

Throughout this ordeal, I haven’t been able to work and earn money to pay my bills. On top of that, I’m faced with medical bills of amounts between $30,000-$50,000 for the treatments that can save my life.

This is why I’m asking for your help. Any amount that you can spare will help me to take care of my responsibilities and pay for my treatments. I will be forever grateful.
