The morning of March 24th my dear friend and coworker Jasmine had to take her 8yr old son Leo to the emergency room for a severe headache. An MRI was ordered and a mass was found in his brain that is causing pressure on his Thalamus. The doctors will go in tomorrow afternoon to perform a midline craniotomy.  As of right now the doctor is anticipating that little Leo will have right sided weakness for the rest of his life. He will have a long road to recovery and therapy.  Jasmine and Jason are having to take time off work so they can be there for their son, along with taking care of their other children. Of course life does not stop because we have emergent situations happen. They will have co-pays, deductibles and just everyday bills continue to pile up while they take this time to ensure Leo's recovery. As a community  I would like us to come together and help keep this family going without having to worry about the financial burden of medical bills and everyday bills getting behind. This family would be grateful for any contribution that could be made. Please keep this beautiful family in your thoughts and prayers as they deal with probably one of the scariest days of their lives and the road to recovery thereafter.
