Help for Ling Ling

Hello everyone! My beloved girlfriend and bestfriend, Ling(Elle), is in need of our help. For those who are unaware, Ling has been suffering with chronic pain in her right adductor of these past three years. Over the past three years, Ling has spent thousands of dollars in medical consultations, X-rays, MRIs, three steroid injections, anti-inflammatory medication, endless amounts of physical therapy, all in hopes of finding a non-invasive approach to a solution. Unfortunately, none of these efforts have relieved her injury and she has started to come to terms that she would be living with this pain for the rest of her life. It pains me to see her struggle everyday with this condition so I couldn’t help myself by creating this fundraiser in her behalf in hopes to speed the process of covering the costs of this surgery.
From her latest consult at Vincera Institute, Ling has learned she has a Femoral Acetabular Impingement (FAI) and they were able to locate a fragment of her pelvic bone that was torn away from the main mass of that bone which is now in the proximal area of the adductor magnus. This is preventing the muscle in that area from healing and causing excruciating pain she is experiencing on the daily. Fortunately, she was relieved and anxious to find out that there is a solution but she would need to undergo surgery by reconstructing this area with the following procedures:
Right Pelvic Floor Repair (CPT Code 49999)
Right Adductor Longus and Pectineus Repairs
Right Adductor Longus and Pectineus Compartment Decompressions
Right Baseball Pitcher Hockey Goalie Compartment Decompressions
Steroid Injection
All in all, this surgery is going to cost roughly around $12,000 out of pocket. Unfortunately, this specific surgery falls outside the bounds of "generally accepted" for insurance companies but fully understand that this specific surgery could mean the difference between living a higher quality life for someone like Ling who is riddled with pain. I am hopeful to continue helping her with the cost of this surgery but hope to raise some money along the way so that Ling could one day live life without pain. All money raised will go towards assisting with medical costs, rehabilitation fees and ongoing treatment so we'd appreciate all of the support you can provide.
