Help for Lily

On Sunday night (14th July) we gave our three dogs an evening treat. Post eating her treat Lily started coughing like she had something in her throat. This isnt uncommon and has never been an issue before, it seemed to clear and we went to bed. In the middle of the night, I went downstairs for a drink and found her in the kitchen. Again, she was coughing. I sat with her, she was a little sick after a while and then seemed ok. In the morning i found her rigid and shaking in the kitchen. I called the vet, and she was admitted immediately for investigation. She was panting, coughing and visibly distressed.
She was at the vets the entire day, they sedated her, did xrays and tried to remove the blockage that they found in her throat under general anesthetic. Unfortunately our vet couldnt reach what was blocking her throat, so we had to drive her to a specialist that evening over an hour and a half away. With her age, her Addisons disease, and the fact that she had already had sedation and general anesthetic that day, we left being told that they would do their best for her (something no-one wants to hear).
Three hours later they called to say the blockage in her throat that they had removed was 10cm by 8cm. Lily is a small breed Cavapoo and the vet was shocked at the size of the blockage and that it hadnt killed her. So the blockage had been removed but it had caused severe damage to her throat (the item was lodged in her throat for over 24hours). She had also developed aspirational pneumonia as whilst being sick the blockage had caused the sick to go into her lungs meaning she only had three quarter lung function.
By this point, in under 24hrs her 4k insurance was already maxed out. The vet said she would likely be in the rest of this week at least. She's been on a feeding tube since Monday night, she's very food orientated but wont eat which isnt positive. They have had her on methadone for the pain, which speaks for itself. If her throat doesn't recover she will need surgery and even if it does her recovery won't be quick.
So I'm asking for help to pay her vets bills. Anything helps, even a share of her story so it reaches as many people as possible. Whatever you do will be appreciated, even if you just keep her in your prayers
Anything that we raise which hasn't been needed to cover vets bills will be donated to dogs trust. It's not about making money, its about being able to do whatever is needed for my baby x
My name is Karen and I'm Lily's mum. Lily is a beautiful loving member of our family, weve had her since she was a pup and this September she turns 10.
Lily has had a tough life, she's suffered with annal absences and 5 years ago we nearly lost her to Addisons disease, a rare and life threatening condition. She's a fighter she pulled through and we manage her condition with medication and regular check ups with our vet.
