Ciao a tutti,

sono Rosanna, una delle tante zie che ha a cuore la salute del nostro adorato nipotino peloso, Leoncino, un micio dolcissimo che purtroppo sta lottando contro la FIP (peritonite infettiva felina), una malattia grave e spesso mortale se non curata in tempo.

Otto mesi fa Leoncino ha iniziato a stare male: era sempre stanco, mangiava poco e aveva la febbre alta. Dopo vari esami e visite, il veterinario di fiducia, nonché professionista esperto in malattie infettive feline, ci ha confermato la diagnosi di FIP.

Fortunatamente oggi esistono cure efficaci, ma molto costose e da seguire con costanza: farmaci specifici, visite di controllo, analisi e monitoraggi frequenti.

I costi elevati della cura non ci hanno assolutamente scoraggiate, anzi… l’unione di tante zie fa la forza, e tutti i nostri sforzi valevano la pena di tentare di dare una possibilità di vita a Leoncino, cucciolino e pieno di voglia di vivere!

E lui di voglia di resistere e vincere il mostro FIP ne ha dimostrato tanta, perché piano piano la cura ha iniziato a fare il suo effetto benefico, ogni giorno un passo in avanti, ogni giorno una conquista verso una vita quasi normale… magari coccolato alla fine da una mamma che lo vorrà adottare per sempre!

Dopo tante cure e terapie, finalmente il mostro FIP sembra essersi addormentato, ed è ora che Leoncino conosca il mondo al di fuori delle mura dell’ambulatorio che gli ha restituito una vita alla quale lui si è aggrappato con le sue zampine !

Fu così che Babbo Natale , a dicembre, lo ha affidato alla ns zia più empatica che lo protegge, lo coccola e lo stimola all’ennesima potenza, rendendolo davvero un gattino felice, nonostante le cure alle quali continua a sottoporsi , senza mai lamentarsi !!

Ormai è diventato l’idolo dello studio veterinario!

La strada è ancora lunga, deve continuare a prendere medicine che hanno un certo costo, deve essere monitorato periodicamente e fare esami specifici, deve rispettare un’alimentazione particolare poiché la terapia ha comportato conseguenze su altri organi , il fegato in particolare, e quindi ha bisogno di assumere alimenti specifici tipo hepatic.

Da qui a qualche giorno Leoncino dovrà sottoporsi necessariamente ad una TAC per verificare lo stato di alcuni organi, e questo ulteriore costo elevato ci ha spinte ad aprire questa raccolta fondi: ogni piccolo contributo può fare davvero la differenza!

Anche pochi euro sono un passo in più verso la sua guarigione e quindi la sua felicità!

Frrr Frrr da Leoncino dopo tante cure

I'm Rosanna, one of the many aunts who cares deeply about the health of our beloved furry nephew, Leoncino, a sweet cat who is unfortunately battling FIP (feline infectious peritonitis), a serious and often fatal disease if left untreated.

Eight months ago, Leoncino began to feel unwell: he was constantly tired, eating little, and had a high fever. After several tests and visits, our trusted veterinarian, an expert in feline infectious diseases, confirmed the diagnosis of FIP.

Fortunately, effective treatments exist today, but they are very expensive and require constant follow-up: specific medications, check-ups, tests, and frequent monitoring.

The high cost of treatment hasn't discouraged us at all; on the contrary... the unity of so many aunts is strength, and all our efforts were worth it to try to give Leoncino, a little kitten full of life, a chance at life!

And he has shown a great desire to resist and conquer the FIP monster, because little by little the treatment has begun to have its beneficial effect, each day a step forward, each day a victory towards an almost normal life... perhaps finally cuddled by a mother who wants to adopt him forever!

After so much treatment and therapy, the FIP monster finally seems to have fallen asleep, and it's time for Leoncino to experience the world beyond the walls of the clinic that gave him back the life he clung to with his little paws!

So, in December, Santa Claus entrusted him to our most empathetic aunt, who protects him, cuddles him, and stimulates him to the nth degree, making him a truly happy kitten, despite the treatments he continues to undergo, without ever complaining!!

He has now become the idol of the veterinary practice!

The road is still long. He must continue to take expensive medications, undergo periodic monitoring and specific tests, and follow a specific diet, as the therapy has affected other organs, particularly his liver, and therefore requires specific foods such as hepatic.

In a few days, Leoncino will need to undergo a CT scan to check the status of some of his organs, and this additional high cost has prompted us to launch this fundraiser: every small contribution can really make a difference!

Even a few euros are a step closer to his recovery and therefore his happiness!
