Help for Lena's Sister (Refugee from Ukraine)

Donation protected
Lena's sister was in Kyiv when the Russian attack on Ukraine began. She was able to escape and head West and managed to successfully flee to Poland before the main assault on Ukraine's capital began. We are happy that she is safe at the moment and in a temporary refugee camp that is meeting her basic needs. However, she is alone there without family or friends. We have absolutely no idea how long this horrible situation will last, how it will end, or exactly what to do, but it is our hope to eventually get her to the United States at least temporarily, until hopefully peace is restored and she can return home. We are also very worried about Lena and Ira's father who is still in Russian occupied Kherson where a very brutal assault just took place. We are not sure how much we can help him but are trying to organize as best we can to take care of both of them and hope that the best possible outcome will happen soon. We have already helped as much as we can from our own means and do not like having to appeal for help but we are setting aside our pride to try and make sure they stay safe and provided for. God willing this situation will resolve the best it possibly can...war is hell. We are grateful for any little thing including all the emotional support that has already been given.
