Help for Lee Byerley's Family

Hello,

On Tuesday September 7th 2021, my fiancé, Lee Byerley, was hospitalized for complications due to COVID-19. Since that day, he has been placed on a ventilator, transferred from our hometown hospital to Hendricks County Health in Danville, IN, and then lifelined to St. Vincents in Indianapolis to be placed on Extracorporeal Membrane Oxidation (ECMO) which is life-support. He is currently fighting for his life as we so desperately pray for the miracle we need in order to begin seeing improvements throughout his fight to bring him home.

Together, we have two young daughters, a barnyard full of animals, a December wedding to plan, and a house full of bills.

Although I haven't felt the effects of it yet, my single 'teacher' income is only going to get us so far. So until Lee is conscious and able to access his disability, I am to take on his extra load along with the things I already cover monthly. I realize that this healing process could be a long one, so I am trying my best to prepare.

I am also trying to get some projects done around the property to ease the burden of Lee's "to-do list" once he does finally come home, many of which will come with a price.

I am deeply humbled by the amount of people who have offered to help our family, and if you know me, you know how much I hate asking for help. I don't want either of our families to have to worry about us, and I especially don't want for Lee to have to worry about us once he wakes up. If this is one way that you are willing to help, we would appreciate any small amount that you are able to contribute. The funds will be used for home expenses, bills, groceries, animal food, diapers, and kid expenses.

We will worry about the medical bills when the time comes.
