It is with a heavy heart that we announce that our beloved father, husband,son, grandfather, brother and good friend Larry has been diagnosed with cancer. My father Larry McCaffrey was diagnosed with cancer back in July of 2016. Although being diagnosed well into stage four he has never stopped fighting. As one of his four sons, I have seen first hand the love and effort he puts in to ensure his family and loved ones are taken care of. My parents are the kind of people that would give the shirt off their backs to a stranger in need, all those who know them, know this to be true. As they have done many things for us growing up, from wisdom to financial assistance when needed, we would like to try and give back to him and my mother as they have done for us.
and to show them how many people out there care for them and have been touched by their generosity and hospitality throughout their lives. From the Sunday breakfasts he'd lay out for us and friends after long nights at the lake, having cold ones with us at the fires Wed have at their home, to crushing colds ones rocking the Cavendish music festival with the best of them. He and my mother have always welcomed everyone with open arms. It's no secret the price of cancer. The bills, the travel expenses, hotels, medical expenses and all the other things that come with it aren't easy to handle, especially when my mother herself is home from work helping my father. Let's show them just how much we all love them.
