Help for Lauren, on Avery’s long road to recovery

Hi my name is Megan Miner, I am raising funds for my best friend Lauren Shea.

On Monday morning June 30 at 1:30am she received the call that no mother ever wants to get. Avery her daughter, had been in a horrible motor vehicle accident and was in critical condition. Avery has a long list of trauma to her body; a fractured neck, a fractured back, a fractured skull, fractured elbow, fractured knee, stitches all over, lost use of a kidney, had bleeding on her liver (since has thankfully slowed) and other internal injuries. She has had to have blood transfusions, and this is just the beginning of her road to recovery.

If you know Lauren, you know that she would do anything for anyone and has the biggest heart. (You may recognize her from the Salvation Army or the Sleep clinic) she would never ask for anything , but being a single income household with 3 children I know she needs the help.

I am asking you to open your hearts, and give what you can so that some pressure and stress of bills and travel can be relieved while she is able to focus on Avery and these days ahead.

This was not the 17th birthday anyone had hoped for, for Avery. She is a sweet soul and we all love her and want her to get better.
