Justice for Lamumba Ali (Roger Ellison, Jr.)
Lamumba El Ali (Roger L. Ellison Jr.), was killed on Saturday August 1, 2020 in Santiago, Dominican Republican (DR) while vacationing and visiting his mother’s home. His body was found at 3:25pm with severe bodily trauma, suggesting he was beaten to death. No one has been arrested for this crime. The DR has not provided any further information to the family. We need your help to get answers and justice for Lamumba.
Lamumba Ali was 44-year-old loving father of 5 children. He grew up in Miami, Florida and graduated from Miami Killian Senior High School. He was a realtor, a community leader, a track coach, a mentor, an uncle, a loving brother, and a loyal son. Lamumba was an athlete and took pride in his health and wellness. He jogged every morning and trained in the Martial Arts and Capoeira.
He was an avid world traveler and also co-founder of a Track and Field Training camp for children in Sierra Leone, Africa.
The family and friends of Lamumba El Ali (Roger L. Ellison, Jr.) are heartbroken from this tragedy and are in search for answers into his death. The DR is calling this an accident but that is inconsistent with the medical examiner's findings. Help us get justice for Lamumba. Donations will assist us in obtaining legal representation and investigation fees in the U.S. and in the Dominican Republic. We cannot do this without your help. We are troubled to learn that like Lamumba, many American citizens have been murdered in the Dominican Republic over the past couple of years, under very similar circumstances, however, little has been done to investigate these murders. We will not be silenced. We are calling for our family and friends to spread the word of Lamumba's murder.
