We're here to support LACSD Employees of the Calabasas Landfill who lost their homes in the recent Woolsey Fire in the cities of Malibu, Woodland Hills and Calabasas. James Stultz and Matt Robinson have served the community of Calabasas for many years by helping to manage solid waste disposal at the Calabasas Landfill. The work they do often goes unnoticed but plays a vital role in protecting the heath and environment in these communities every day. The Calabasas Landfill that serves the community also sustained significant damage during these fires. Knowing that the landfill will play a critical role in the clean up and recovery effort in the weeks and months ahead, James and Matt have worked to re-open the landfill and ready it to receive debris from the fire, and will ensure it is safely disposed of. This Go Fund Me site is our way of giving back to those who are a part of our LACSD family and the communities they serve.
