Those who know us know that we really try not to ask for help. Kyle and I are both very proud, hard-working people who won’t ask for anything if we can help it, except of course from our amazing immediate families who have pitched in so much, especially over the last couple of months. Unfortunately, we have fallen on some extremely hard times where we are in a pinch that, unfortunately, pride aside, we are asking for assistance if anyone is fortunate enough to be able to help.

Most know in Feb I fell and dislocated my knee. I had surgery in April and am just now starting to weight bear on my leg and learning to use it again. I work 30 hours a week, so I was not eligible for any type of medical leave pay. I am not able to return to work until mid-July or August. My amazing husband stepped up and has worked overtime since then to cover the bills for both of our houses as we just moved and are trying to get our other house on the market. But in the meantime, we have been paying bills at both places on one income.

Well, as our luck has it, Kyle had an accident on 6/1 and fell at home, causing him to fracture his back in the process and will now be out of work anywhere from 4-8 weeks in a brace. And as luck has it, Kyle hasn’t worked there long enough to qualify for paid medical leave. We are just devastated and panicked about what to do next and how to stay above water while navigating this yet another setback. If you are able to help, it is so greatly appreciated. But we also understand times are tough right now, so if not, if you could share, that would be extremely appreciated as well.
