Hi everyone, we've kept to ourselves for awhile now but our daughter, Kinsley Sophia Szmigiel and Cayleigh were given a medication error from a local hospital that resulted in Kinsley having encephalopathy which is another term for brain damage. What we've seen and been through really has been awful from us holding our daugther while she was going blue multiple times from not getting oxygen to the brain. The medication lasted days in her system as she constanly went hypoxic (no oxygen) and cyanotic.

It's been many emotions for our family and its been a very hard time. The trauma is unbearable and we've been fighting through depression with an inability to resume the normal life we once had. Although we try to stay positive, the inability to concentrate, focus or even work has taken a large toll on us and our health and wellness. We are in a financial hardship. Our lil angel Kinsley is our world and we want to give her the best life possible. We are please asking for any help in any way you can to support Kinsley Sophia Szmigiel and her path to happiness.
