Help for Kim Olvaney & Family
Donation protected
I am writing to let you know about the devastating loss of Tim Olvaney. Tim, 55, was a delivery truck driver for HUSD and passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on 9-10-20.
Tim leaves behind his wife Kim, 4 children, three grandchildren, sister, brother, and hundreds of friends.
Tim was known for his silly laugh, big grin, and even bigger heart.
There wasn’t one person that didn’t like Tim. Tim was a very kind, loving, gentle, hardworking, and simple man who loved nature and was a naturalist at heart. He was never a gossip. He never had unkind words for anyone. Tims’s world evolved around his wife, children, and grandchildren. Friends of Tim’s children would congregate at the Olvaney home. More than one of their friends have said that Tim is the type of man they want to emulate.
Tim was known for his quick wit and great sense of humor. He’d often be seen doing pirouettes down the hall or mimicking Sasquatch walking in the forest. Tim loved to eat; it wouldn’t surprise anyone to see him pull a chicken leg out of his pocket!
Their family lost their first born son to suicide in 2016, leaving them all heartbroken. As time has passed, coping with their immense grief has become easier. They finally started to enjoy life; hanging out like best friends, traveling in their little motor home, ( “ the ol lady”), camping, fishing, picnicking, and just being together out in nature.
The passing of Tim has been devastating, to say the least. Many friends have asked us how they can help. Kim works part time and the upcoming final arrangements and first few months will be difficult. Any donation would be appreciated to help lessen the burden on Kim. We are thankful to everyone who has reached out during this extremely difficult time.
We will never stop talking about you, Tim. Until we meet again, Rest In Peace.
