Hi. My name is Kathi Kernan and our dear friends of many decades lost their 28 year old son this week. He didn't wake up. They are understandably devastated by this loss. Killian left a sweet boy named after him. Our friends have him for now.

Killian Dougherty was a light in this sometimes dark world. He was dedicated to his son and his family. He excelled academically and athletically. He was also an extremely gifted chess player. His largest gift however was his ability to empathize and help not only those he loved but complete strangers also. The world has lost a good soul.

When things like this happen, we all ask ourselves how we can help. I have no idea. But I thought I could help a little by raising needed funds for Killian's funeral and maybe a little extra to help with his little boy's care.
