Lauren was working at her salon and closed up shop. As she got home on December 19th, Kevin (36) was in bed because he had a bad headache. Lauren could tell something was off and asked him to roll over and the left side of his face was completely paralyzed. He was having a stroke. She got him to the local hospital just in time. The hospital flew him to a trauma center in the city where he underwent emergency brain surgery. He had a large clot in his right middle cerebral artery (At this point, (12/20/2020), we are unsure of Kevin’s recovery and what that entails. Any support is most appreciated during this time. 

kevin is anticipated to be unable to work for the foreseeable future. After being laid off due to COVID, insurance is not available to him at this time. 

update 12/20/2020 PM- Kevin’s speech is still garbled but he’s off the ventilator!!
