Help for Ken Foo

Hello everyone, these past couple of months have been extremely difficult for Ken. He has been struggling with prostate cancer for three years now and his condition is worsening. Because of this, his diabetes and asthma, his immune system is weak and he contracted COVID which lasted in his system for a whole month (we know this because of frequent tests).

This past Tuesday he was riding his bicycle home and was hit by a large truck. He has ridden a bike his entire life because he supports a healthy active lifestyle that is better for the environment (he has never even owned or driven a car) and is always safe. He flew up high in the air after the truck crashed into him and is suffering from a broken wrist, one broken spinal disc, two spinal discs injured, and deep scrapes and bruises. His helmet cracked too, thank god he wearing it. He is still currently in the hospital with strict care to make sure he does not become paralyzed. 

He is older and a landlord but because of COVID people lost their jobs and were understandably unable to pay his rent. So he has been doing odd jobs here and there to stay afloat. Because of this accident, he is unable to walk or take care/clean or feed himself. 

We are in contact with a lawyer but the case will take some time and won’t cover all the necessary medical care, physical therapy, and living situation. We understand these have been difficult times for everyone. Anything helps. Thank you so much.
