Help Eric’s family in the difficult days to come
We lost a beautiful man in a tragic car accident on Friday, August 13th near his home in Lincoln City, Oregon.
James “Eric” Versteeg was taken far too soon at the young age of 46. He is missed tremendously by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves his beautiful wife Kelli and their two boys, Gavin 12 and Mason 11.
Eric “The Big Man” was as kind and gentle and humble as they come. He was funny, man was he funny! He and Kelli shared a loving marriage of 14 years as soul mates. He was an incredible hands on father to his 2 boys, one of which has high functioning autism and Type I Diabetes. Eric worked from home and was able to share in the daily care and raising of the boys.
Eric grew up on the Oregon coast and it was always his desire to return. The family moved to Lincoln City 4 years ago from Arizona. Eric was living his best life at the beach! He loved daily walks on the beach with their dog, Lou.
So many people have reached out wanting to offer help in some way. If you feel so inclined to offer a monetary donation to help Kelli and the boys in the difficult days to come, please know it will be much appreciated. All donations will go directly to Kelli.
Thank you
