Help Kate Abate as she grieves the loss of Joe

Donation protected
Many of you may have had the blessing of knowing and receiving spiritual love and support from our beloved Kate Abate. Kate regularly volunteers her time and caring efforts to St. Mary’s community. On most any weekday, you can find her organizing, chairing, contributing and continually praying for our church, our community and individuals.
Recently, Kate lost her adored husband and life partner of 17 years, Joe Abate. As you might imagine, this loss has been devastating for Kate. Not only is she experiencing the missing of her constant companion and best friend, but also, is now facing financial hardship due to the sudden loss of Joe’s income. Having to manage her household and daily living expenses on less than half the budget has become a real hardship on her. The stress of these financial pressures along with her deep grief has resulted in a desperate need of assistance.
Throughout the years, Kate has selflessly extended her loving nature to us through dedicated prayer, acts of kindness, and uplifting conversations. Now is the time for us to come together and return the blessings.
The St. Mary’s Church and others have always made it a regular practice to assist those in our community who are less fortunate and in need. Now we have the opportunity to rally together for one of our own members in a way that demonstrates our continued commitment in caring.
It is in this spirit that we are reaching out to our fellowship in order to provide Kate with the necessary funding she needs to meet her current financial responsibilities. Will you join us in our communal efforts to help Kate?
Please consider donating what you can. Every single contribution collected through this GoFundMe campaign will go directly to alleviating Kate’s expenses. Through your generous offerings we can make a difference!
Let us all remember to keep Kate surrounded in the support of our loving prayers as she moves through this tender time of loss and uncertainty.
James 1:27. “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”
