Hello everyone - Karl was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the end of October/ beginning of November 2021. He had to stop work because of dizzy spells, fainting and extremely bad headaches. We was told it was 99% benign but after the tumour was removed, they had left 10%in as it was growing on his optical nerve which contained cancerous cells and so he needed 6 weeks of intensive radiotherapy. Karl has had treatment every day for 6 weeks, which has left him physically sick and he has extreme fatigue. Also he is now registered as partially sighted because of this diagnosis and operation. Obviously he has not been able to work in all of this time which has left him very depressed and he now has high anxiety. He has also had another tumour found behind his nose which is now being investigated and a new treatment plan will be put in place.
