Help for Joyce & Terry

On January 23rd, around 11:00 at night, Joyce and Terry LaPlante were faced with the reality of a nightmare. A simple smell that they thought was just the wood stove, turned into their house being engulfed in flames.
Terry & Joyce have lived at their beautiful farmhouse for 3 years. It was the first house they purchased together as a married couple and thought they would spend the rest of their lives there, creating memories and entertaining for their family and friends.
For anyone who knows either Joyce or Terry, knows that they are all about everyone else. They will do everything and anything to make people feel at home, make them feel like they belong and always want to come back. This is exactly what this house did for them. They've hosted countless amounts of parties, either for holidays or just social gatherings. They've even hosted a huge fundraiser for a 5 year old boy that loved fire trucks. They were able to make it happen. They included The Readfield FD and their mutual aid along with ambulances as part of his birthday surprise. Never thinking of the possibility that the same Fire departments would eventually return, just 5 months later battling a horrific fire to the LaPlante’s home.
They have lost everything they own, and need help getting their life back together.
