Help for Josh and Heather's Recovery and Peace!

Hello friends!

Raquel here, with an ask for a couple of friends who have been through A LOT this year so far. Josh, my chosen sibling, and Heather, are in an incredibly difficult financial position and I am here to ask you for help getting them through.

Josh's mental health has been unreasonably hard on him. Josh has had to spend many days in the hospital, including recently when having an allergic reaction to one of the meds meant to help with his mental health. Frankly, that alone is more than so many of us could handle.

But earlier this year, Josh was in an accident, resulting in the need to purchase a new vehicle and miss a lot of work due to injury, and now, after many struggles getting doctors to take them seriously, due to pre-cancerous cells, Heather has to have major surgery in the near future. Thankfully, they both have healthcare coverage, but when you are ill, in and out of the hospital, and juggling so much, working consistently is all but impossible. Both of them have been consistently applying for support from the city/county/state, and while some has come through, most of it has thus far been denied.

So now, Heather and Josh are nearing an emergency situation in terms of their housing and other immediate bills, so I lovingly ask that you donate any amount you find meaningful to support them and get them to a place where they can focus on their health and getting to a more stable place. Community is the best way to care for our people.
