Many of Johnny's friends and coworkers have asked if a Gofundme account could be set up for Johnny's recovery from brain tumor surgery. After months in the hospital and rehab Johnny continues to strengthen and makes small gains daily. He has finally been transferred to RIO in Portland for specialized treatment and speech therapy. This is really great news and his wife Launa will have more time to spend with him. However, the bills are stacking up. I had to ask some tough questions because the family really doesn't want to ask for help. But the added financial burden and uncertainty is bearing down.
My name is Ed Woods and Johnny was my boss and a very close friend. Johnny was part of a Life Group in my home and goes to my church. He is the most loving and giving person I know. I have never seen someone give so much and care so deeply for everyone around him. He always puts others ahead of himself.
Well now I think it's time for us to show him and his family some love. Please give generously as we believe Johnny will recover from this surgery and will be home with his family to continue his healing.
