Help For John and Eva Coolidge Cancer Sucks

Hi, my name is Tina Coolidge and I am fundraising for my parents John and Eva Coolidge. I know, neither of them would have approved of me doing this. So I had to follow my heart on this and decided I would ask for forgiveness rather than for permission.

My father, John, has been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer. I won’t go into the details because quite honestly at this point we know very little other than it’s stage 4, it’s cancer and there are “spots” on his spine and hip.

My parents have been married for 46 years. In June it will be 47. They have been residents of East Bethel for their entire married life, my father has been a resident of East Bethel his entire life. My parents are both hard working people and until just recently my Dad, John, was employed at Irving Wood Products.

Unfortunately, with this diagnoses Dad has had to stop working. He will be getting some disability benefits, however as anyone knows, that has had to draw off disability, it takes time to get your paperwork in order. This will only be a certain percentage of his normal pay.

I am asking for help from anyone that can help. My parents are not extravagant individuals as anyone that knows them can attest to. They are simple people, they are hard working people, they would do anything for anyone and never ask for anything in return.

I’m looking to alleviate some of the strain on them, I can’t fix cancer, I can’t make this go away. But I’m hoping I can lessen any financial burden while they navigate this chapter of their life together.
