Help for John After Devastating House Fire

*Update -
John is totally overwhelmed and appreciative of everyone’s generosity and support! Thank you all for your donations. Please continue to share so we can get John and Cash into a new home quickly.
On Saturday, January 15, our dear friend John Carrigan was saved by his dog, Cash. Cash barked and jumped on John to wake him up because their home was on fire. Because of Cash they were both able to escape. Although their home wasn’t totally destroyed, there is extensive water and smoke damage and the majority of John’s belongings are not salvageable.
The Red Cross has been very helpful and John and Cash are safe in a hotel. But this is only a temporary solution. They are going to need to get into a new home, and replace clothing, furniture - everything.
Those of you who know John know what an incredible person he is. John has spent most of his life dedicated to helping adults and children with developmental disabilities. And this is how we came to meet John. He started working with my boys a few months ago and quickly became one of their favorite people. He has been a tremendous blessing in our lives.
Please help me help John and Cash get back on their feet quickly. Every dollar makes a difference!!
