Hi my name is Ashley. This Fundraiser is set up for Jessy wood, his wife Jamie and son Camrin. Camrin and his dad Jessy went to visit family in Iowa and enjoy time together but Camrin cane down with a illness which has kept in ICU. On Monday Sept 9th Camrin was not feeling well and taken to the ER where he was diagnosed with Rhinovirus. The following day Camrin was worsening and had become very weak and unable to support himself which triggered his dad Jessy to take him back to the ER where he was then diagnosed with Viral paralysis and admitted. After further work up he was then Transferred to where he is currently admitted in the Neurology ICU at UI Stead Family Children's Hospital getting further treatment and testing. Camrin is currently continuing to have issues with paralysis and unable to control his body. He is having diffuculty speaking and communicating as well. For those of you that know Jessy, you know you can count him if you need help with anything. Jessy is the kind of parent that all kids love. Jessy is the one that will go to games and cheer on the team even though his own kid is not playing. Jessy is the "go to" for many parents when they need help with childcare or anything for that matter. Jessy and Jamie both open their doors to everyones kids. So this time let's be there for Jessy and his family. Jamie was able to fly to Iowa yesterday to be there with her husband. There is a possibility Camrin will need to stay in this hospital for another 12 weeks. When he starts to improve he will need physical therapy to regain his strength and walk because he does not have control of his movements. This time there will leave Jamie out of work and the bills and expenses adding up. As a community lets show them the love and support to get through this hard time and take a huge burden off their shoulders. Jessy will never ask for help so I am doing it for him.
