It’s with a heavy heart, and due to circumstances beyond everyone’s control that I’ve made the decision to leave Palm&Pine. Over the last two years I’ve been lucky to be able to help create a beautiful restaurant with the P&P team; I’ll always be grateful for the time we spent together and the knowledge I’ve gained through this process.
Money doesn’t come easily when you open a restaurant, so I was *already* behind on all my bills when the Hard Rock/Kailas Collapse happened. Now? Now I have no idea how I’m going to pay to live for the next month.
Asking for help has never been a strong suit. I never want to be a bother to anybody, but my friends have convinced me to accept help at this time and I'm not afraid to say that I need it.
What this GoFundMe will afford me is to come current on my bills and November rent, while giving me a little cushion so I can take a moment to find new employment at a place where I’m a good fit; not just being forced to take the first job I can find.
Anything you might be able to spare would be incredible. If all you have is a hug you know I’m here for that too! I want nothing more then to be in a more stable place where I can pay this type of charity forward when others are in need.
Please don’t let this stop you from visiting Palm&Pine, the people there still need the community’s help to get back on their feet.
