Hi everyone, my name is Jennifer Leduc, this is a really sad, and hard story to share, but my brother and his family are currently in need and I'm hoping this will be a start.

On August 21st, after many months of deterioration, and being in pain, and many hospital visits, the doctors had finally discovered that my sister in law, Rowena, who is only 40 years old had a brain tumor that needed immediate surgery. On August 27th, she had her surgery, which has left her with many extreme, life altering complications, including paralysis of her face, pneumonia and a blood clot in her brain, which is also life threatening. Right now they are unsure of what is to come.

It's been a very hard and unexpected past week for Rowena's family, and for us, my brother Jeremy's family. Together Jeremy and Rowena have 2 wonderful children and share, each, two beautiful step sons together. 4 in all. 4 wonderful children, who have just started school again and who are trying so hard to be happy and feel normalcy, but are so very sad and miss their mom so much. It's been hard, to say the least. But, so very hard for my younger brother Jeremy who is fighting to stay by his wives side at the CHUS in Sherbrooke, but, still fighting to make his way home to Stanstead every evening to take care of their kids and 2 beautiful dogs. And he does it. Every morning and every evening.

Because of these really sad and sudden events, there was no time to prepare and so both of them have lost their working incomes. And my brother Jeremy is struggling financially to keep up with the bills and provide for his young kids.

This is probably the most important post I've ever written in my life. The saddest post, I know for sure.

I know my brother's heart is breaking right now.

If our friends and family and community could come together and each donate a little bit it would go a long ways.
