In March, Jeff suffered a ruptured achilles and a subsequent infection. The infection was so bad that at one point it looked like much of his leg would need to be amputated.
He has had multiple surgeries thus far and has more to come. He can walk only with a cane, is in considerable pain, and this crisis has severely limited his ability to work (although he's doing his best and working more than his doctors would like. To anyone that knows Jeff, this is not suprising).
They need our help. These wonderful people have served all around the world, and been exceedingly generous with everyone in their community. Now they're facing rising medical bills without clarity on how many more procedures are required, and how long the recovery time will be.
Let's rally around them and make this difficult season a little easier.
