Help for JD and Jessi Taylor
Donation protected
My son, JD Taylor, Willshire, was in a truck accident on November 6th, outside of Willshire, Ohio. He is the husband of Jessi and father to Abbi, Deagan and Dexter, all Parkway students. JD was lifeflighted to Parkview hospital in Ft Wayne with serious injuries. He sustained a broken neck, resulting in being put in a halo for at least 12 weeks, to see if that heals his C1 and C2 breaks. He had a severely dislocated hip, also broken in several places, with the cup needing rebuilt. He had a lacerated kidney, several broken bones and other injuries. After time in ICU and Trauma, he was moved to the Parkview Rehab hospital. They are teaching him to walk and climb stairs again. He is very determined!
JD will not be able to work for at least 6 months. He has no money coming in. His wife, Jessi, was diagnosed with MS last year and can't work. She can barely walk or stand without losing her balance. She has filed for disability, but is still waiting.
Right now, they have no money coming in. They still have house payments, utilities, insurance, school sports functions for their 2 oldest kids (Abbi, 15, wrestles and is the catcher for the Panthers Varsity softball team and Deagan, 13, plays basketball) and Christmas is in a month.
I am asking for any help anyone would be willing to give them. They are good people who are always willing to help others. I know this is going to be a rough winter. Every little bit will help.
Thank you so much!!
