Help for Jaycee & Wendy Eason

Hello, my name is Brittany. I am starting this fundraiser to help out a co-worker and long time best friend in her time of need. If you've ever been to the Cinema Tavern in downtown Villa Rica you have probably met a bubbly smiley beautiful soul named Wendy. Wendy is a single mother of three who spends all of her time with her children or at work.

A little over week ago her middle daughter Jaycee (14) was rushed from Villa Rica, GA to Kennestone Hospital suffering from sepsis (causing shortness of breath, high fever, pain, nausea, & vomiting) and acute kidney failure. It could have killed her. The doctors are still not sure how she acquired it or why it is taking so long to dissipate. She is still running a fever, and her creatinine levels are still high. She is currently on 2 antibiotics, and is being monitored at Kennestone Hospital for at least the next three days.

They have done 2 X-rays, an ultrasound, and 1 CT scan so far. Wendy is hopeful that Medicaid should take care most if not all of the medical bills, but she has missed over a week of work and has nothing to pay her bills.

Wendy is my spirit animal! She has an infectious personality that you cannot help but notice and love. She is a Rock Star! And I know Villa Rica agrees with me!

Update: 2/15/24 Thank you so much for the donations so far. I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s Day. Here is our update on Jaycee today from Wendy:

Dr just left, not going home today, they are wanting to do more labs, they said her hemoglobin levels are hanging out around 8-9 if it falls below an 8 to a 7ish they're gonna have to do a blood transfusion. They said probably not, but they wanted to let me know just incase it happens she didn't want me to panic.

But her creatinine levels are down to a 1.2 yesterday they were a 1.5 so that's really good! Her infection rate is up higher than yesterday. It's at a 19 so they want to get another 24 hours of the new antibiotic to see the labs on it.
