On the 21st of January 2017 James, Bec and Lillie were at home enjoying being a beautiful family when James suffered a sudden cardiac arrest.  Bec saved James' life by giving him CPR for around 25 minutes until the help of paramedics arrived.  Paramedics have defibrillated James' heart before he was transported to Tweed Heads Hospital in a serious conditon and was later transfered to John Flynn Intensive Care Unit for treatment.  Since this time James has been in an induced coma to allow him to recover and heal.  To date it is unknown what caused our fit and healthy 31 year old James to have the sudden attack and doctors can not tell us when James will wake from the coma or what his condition will be when he wakes.  However they have told us that the recovery time will be a very long process.  As James and Bec will be unable to work for some time, the money raised will be used to assist James in his recovery and also help with the financial burden placed on this amazing family.  We ask everyone keep James in their prayers and stay positive because we are.  James is a very strong fit young man who we know would do anything to be back with his family and also out in the surf again.  Love you Jamesy
