Help for Jacob and Holly

Cliff Notes: Jacob was hospitalized last weekend after suffering a seizure while at home with Holly. After an ambulance ride to Brookings and then another to Sioux Falls, a CT, an MRI, and a series of other tests, Jake was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

There are a lot of unknowns ahead for Jake and Holly but what they know for certain is that the road to recovery for Jake won’t be a short one. Sometime in the next few weeks, Jake will have the first of multiple procedures that will eventually culminate in surgery to remove the mass from his brain. The cost, even with health insurance, will be staggering. Coupled with the missed work, the travel and everything else that comes with health issues, it will be a lot of extra strain at a time when their focus needs to be on Jake’s health.

Those that know Jake and Holly know they’d neverask for help. They shouldn’t have to ask, so we’re going to get this page going. Let’s all show some love and support in whatever way we can for a couple of really great people going through some really hard times.
