Ivan and I started our journey together as husband and wife on October 7 2017 going on our first year of marriage we were blessed to find out we were expecting our first child. Unfortunately we also face one of the biggest obstacles of our lives.On Thursday evening , June 28th, Ivan was on his way for a rehearsal to sing at his friends religious wedding. Ivan loves to play the piano and sing at
church and community.

Unfortunately Ivan never made it to his rehearsal, on his way, while driving he was shot twice one in the spine the other by the heart. Ivan was rushed to the hospital, where an ambulance took him in critical condition.

Once he arrived at the hospital doctors diagnosed Ivan with a T11 spinal cord injury and gave him no chance he will ever walk again. Ivan is a fighter, a hard worker,and on August 2 2018 at 3:31pm a wonderful father. His daughter has been a big motivation for him to push himself beyond what he can do. 

Ivan has positively impacted so many lives.

Ivan is so strong he returned to work part time on October 23, however accessing the best care for future appointments, rehab, and equipment will be expensive. Ivan is an inspiration to us he is determine to prove that with a little faith nothing is impossible.
