Help for Isabella's Family

Isabella's family is experiencing a crisis and this fundraiser is a call to urgently help them. This lovely young family is in dire need of financial assistance after experiencing severe hardship that no child should ever have to suffer.  We have personally met this family.  Both parents lost their jobs in Florida due to the pandemic and then eventually lost their home. They came to NYC with their 7-year-old daughter Isabella because a distant family member promised help securing a job - unfortunately that plan did not work out.   After spending 2 weeks in a city quarantine hotel, they are now homeless and trying to find help with placement in a family shelter, which in the current COVID environment is not easy due to limited staff and overall chaos in the city. In the meantime, they have depleted what little savings they had and urgently need help!   With the generosity of a couple of good Samaritans, they were able to find a somewhat reasonable hotel room in Queens, but unfortunately need help paying for it going forward while social workers are scrambling to find a way to secure more permanent housing accommodations. Their most immediate need is money to be used for housing and food. They are also looking for jobs. The father, who is a native New Yorker and an Army Veteran, has a background in security and construction, and is willing to take on any job to provide for his family. He is a fast learner! The mother also worked in security and has experience in retail and clerical work.  They have very few personal belongings with them. Isabella needs school supplies, toys, books, etc. And, having come from Florida, they only have summer clothes and will need fall/winter items to wear. Please help us raise money for this family in need! Every little bit helps!
